Glazing & Repairs
At Merstham Glass, our glazing department OFFER service calls to windows, doors and conservatories. We can also supply and install bespoke mirrors and painted splashbacks
We can usually resolve the problems with your existing double glazing. Most of the problems with windows and doors occur with hinges, sealed units, handles, locks (windows, doors & patio doors), patio door tracks and wheels.
Virtually all these problems are within the existing frame so a repair or replacement part will usually solve the problem without having to pay the cost of a new window or door. However, sometimes there is no alternative because the parts and components are obsolete.

CALL & MEASURE
Our Glazing Manager will contact you to arrange mutually convenient time/date to visit your property - we will provide an "AM or PM" slot. A member of our glazing team will take measurements (if required) and any information required then report back to the Glazing Manger.
We will send you an estimate for the works required, normally via email. If you do not have access to email we will post a copy to your chosen Address. During busy periods this may take up to 48 hours. Any urgent repair work (E.G boarding up after an attempted break in) will be dealt with as a priority.
Once we have received your confirmation (in writing) we will order any materials needed. Confirmations can be sent via post or email. Please ensure that you include your estimate reference number and total cost.
Please Note: Sealed units, toughened glass and processed glass can take up to 7 working days to arrive with us. Painted splashbacks can take up to 10 working days.
Once we have received any materials on order we will contact you to arrange a mutually convenient time/date to visit your property to carry out your works. we will provide an "AM or PM" slot. If for any reason due to unforeseen circumstances we are unable to fulfill this appointment we will call to let you know.
A member our our glazing team will hand you an invoice on site once all works are complete. Our invoice terms for glazing or repair work are strictly on "practical completion" - we can accept cash, cheques or debit/credit card payments.
If you would prefer to make your payment via bank transfer then please call the office to let us know, you may also require our account details. Please ensure that you use your invoice number (starting with "G") as the payment reference.
